This page explains what information Hasan Visuals (operated by Hasan Khalid, "I", "me") collects through hasanvisual.com and the Hasan Visuals Academy, why I collect it, and what your options are. I've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text.
Information you give me directly
I only collect what's needed to reply to you or deliver something you signed up for:
- Contact / project brief form ("Let's talk") — name, email, WhatsApp number, the service you're interested in, budget range and your project details.
- Academy enrollment — name, email, WhatsApp number, city, payment method, transaction reference and a screenshot of your payment, used solely to verify enrollment.
- Free webinar registration — name, email, WhatsApp number, city and your current skill level.
None of this is required to simply browse the site — only if you choose to submit a form.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, some technical information is collected automatically when you visit:
- Google Analytics — I use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic (pages viewed, general location, device type). Google sets its own cookies for this; see Google's Privacy Policy for how they handle that data.
- First-party analytics — this site also logs basic visit data itself (page visited, referring page, IP address, and an anonymous visitor cookie that lasts one year) to a private log file on my own server, so I can see rough traffic trends without relying entirely on a third party. This log is not shared with anyone.
How I use your information
- To reply to your message or project brief
- To verify and process an Academy enrollment or webinar signup
- To send you confirmation and follow-up emails related to what you submitted
- To understand how visitors use the site, so I can improve it
I don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, ever.
Where your information is stored
Form submissions are stored in a database and a backup file on my hosting provider (Hostinger), under my own domain — nothing is routed through a third-party CRM or marketing platform. Payment screenshots submitted during enrollment are kept in a private folder that isn't publicly accessible on the web. Emails (confirmations, notifications) are sent from my own mailbox on my domain, not through a third-party email marketing service.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies:
- Google Analytics cookies (third-party, set by Google)
- An anonymous first-party visitor cookie (
hv_vid) used only for my own basic traffic counting, valid for one year
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so won't prevent you from using the site — it just means visit counting will be less accurate.
Your rights
You can ask me to see, correct, or delete any personal information I hold about you at any time — just email me and I'll handle it directly, usually within a few days.
Children's privacy
This site and the Academy are not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group.
Changes to this policy
If how I handle data changes meaningfully, I'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
